BOB L. MONSON, AIA

PROJECT ARCHITECT

After obtaining his degree in architecture, Bob began a 34-year career with the U.S. Navy and Corps of Engineers. His extensive work in the military included serving as Project Manager in the Engineering Division for dam, canal, and levee projects; Program Manager in charge of District’s Defense Environmental Restoration Program; Life Cycle Program Manager responsible for programming and execution of reserve centers and family support centers; and as Chief, Architectural Design, for nearly a decade. Following his military career, he joined ORB with a focus on design and quality assurance. He’s received the Superior Civilian Service Award from the U.S. Army, Commander’s Award for Civilian Service from the Corps of Engineers, and numerous Outstanding Service Awards over the years while with the Seattle District Corps of Engineers.
