ORB Architects has a long history working for the United States Government,
including projects for the Army, Navy and Postal Service.
John Patterson,
Vice President of ORB, leads these efforts. The many years of
repeat contracts and positive reviews is a testament to his
level of excellent service, reliability
and the trust that he instills with every project.
Our government contract projects have included everything from housing and
lodging facilities to a fire station & 911 call center. These projects often
involve our expertise in historic structures and utilize the design-build process.
We provide architectural services to Fort Lewis Public Works and the Washington
Air National Guard through in-place IDIQ contracts for AE services. For nearly
10 years, ORB has assisted Fort Lewis DPW in developing the Job Order Contract
(JOC), abbreviated design concepts and DPW design standards documents. We have
also designed and provided construction administration services for more than
75 projects at Fort Lewis and the Yakima Training Center.
The ORB family is a proud supporter of our troops and is pleased and honored to
participate in the growth at Fort Lewis and at other military installations in
our community.
